The Shabak People MOURN ASHURA

Thousands Of Shabak Walked Their Ritual

As usual every year the Shabak people mourn Ashura and participate their religious and ethnic customs. Dr. Hunain Al-Qaddo and the Shabak Democratic Assembly also played a major role in helping to organise this major event. Thousands of shabak people walked from their villages to Imam Zein Al-Abedeen Mosque where they flocked to mourn Ashura. Dr. Hunain Al-Qaddo gave a speech in Imam Zein Al-Abedeen Mosque concerning this event. He also used his visit to Bartellah to meet many shabak people and taking a tour to many Shabak villages, to inspect their situation and problems and when possible trying to give as much aid as possible in helping his people.
